Hero Boost

One of my league member send me a mail asking about the hero production.

" I have a level 13 , 85 POL hero and a level 35 , 74 POL hero. When I appoint the level 13 , 85 POL hero as castellan , his production bonus is lower than the level 35 , 74 POL bonus. Is this a bug, or is production bonus tied to more than a Castellan's Politics? Hero level maybe?

Well , I searched the whole Kingory Forum and seems to get a reasonable explanation.

There is nothing wrong with the production bonus.

As you gotta know that there are other factors that affect the whole hero bonus production:

1) Hero MNV

2) Hero PLT

3) Total City population ( The bigger the city population, the higher the MNV you need for your Castallen as the MNV affect the peasants in the city to produce resource )

The Kingory Equations FAQ actually had this equation correct, yet it is probably very hard to understand because of the poor wording and loose example.

The problem you are encountering is probably because your maximum population is too high compared to your Castellan's MNV (Maneuver) stat. Take your Castellan's MNV, multiply it by 1000, and if that number is greater than your maximum population, your Hero Resource Boost will simply be : Basic Production x ( PLT/100). However, you are probably building and upgrading your cottages constantly while your Castellan's leveling progresses much more slowly (a Hero's MNV increases by 1 every time that Hero levels up).

( Also, just for the newbies, Max population can be found by hovering your mouse over the small icon with two people, it's the number right of "Capacity" ).




If your max population exceeds your hero's MNV x 1000, you proceed to find the Maneuver Ratio, which is:

(MNV x 1000) ÷ Max Population

Example: Lvl 17 Hero , 17 MNV , 86 PLT , Max population 54,000 (12 level 9 cottages)

Maneuver Ratio = (17 x 1000) ÷ 54000
which equals 0.3148...

Now that we have this number, we apply this into the basic equation: Basic Production x [(PLT/100) x Maneuver Ratio]

The equation given to us by the Kingory team lacks proper segregation in the right places.

Following our example, lets say we have 67600 Base food production (15 level 9 Farms+100 base food production )

And now plopping all the numbers in our final equation:

67600 x [(86/100) x ((17 x 1000)/54000)] <- (if you want it to be accurate don't use an estimate decimal number for the Maneuver Ratio part) which equals a Hero Resource Boost of +18302

In this example, the hero has a fairly decent PLT ( base 70 at level 1 ), but because the Max population is so great, the hero's MNV can't keep up and the Hero Resource Boost ends up being 0.27 , or 27%. If we had max 17k population, our Hero Resource Boost would instead be a solid 0.86, or 86%. If you want your resource boost to increase, slow down on the cottages, and either level up your Castellan or find a higher level one. Either way, you're looking at dishing out gold.
